The boldest piece in the series. Fold hangs in long vertical drapes of near-black ink, heavy at the top and releasing into light along the base, so the flat wall reads as fabric caught mid-fall. It carries more contrast than anything else in Nocturne and is meant to be seen from a distance.

Nocturne is a series of seven abstract watercolour murals, painted wet-on-wet in a single warm charcoal ink. The seven share one palette and one hand; what changes is what the water does. Hung together they read as one body of work. Chosen alone, each holds a wall on its own. Drift, Veil, Reed, Horizon, Strata, Fold and Bloom — Fold is the sixth.

Give it a wall with room to breathe: a dining room, a double-height living space, a wine bar, a reception. It is a statement rather than a backdrop, and it holds a large surface without repeating.

How do I measure the wall?

1. Using a measuring tape, write down the widest width and the highest height of the wall, excluding baseboards and molding. Consider adding 10-15% buffer to be on the safe side.


2. Measure every wall that you plan to cover. Regarding windows and doors, just pretend they don’t exist and only measure the widest portions of the wall. This guarantees full seam-to-seam coverage.


3. Input your wall measurements into the calculator and press enter. You now have the total price for the square meters needed for your job.

How your mural is made & arrives

Murals are printed to your exact wall size and priced per square metre — after you enter your wall’s width and height, the live quote updates to the area you need. There are no fixed roll sizes.

Your mural arrives as several numbered drops (vertical panels). Hang them in order, matching the pattern along a small overlap between panels. Full measuring and hanging guidance is included with every order.
