Nocturne began as one long session with one colour. The pigment was dropped into standing water and left to find its own edges — blooming, drifting, settling into bands, falling in long vertical folds. What the seven share is the palette and the hand. What separates them is what the water did.

Drift scatters. Veil closes into an even field. Reed falls in columns. Horizon settles into a single graded wash. Strata layers and breaks. Fold hangs like heavy cloth. Bloom opens into the largest marks in the set.

Hung together they read as one body of work — a corridor, a stairwell, a hotel floor, a whole apartment. Chosen alone, each holds a wall on its own.
